Does anyone know if it would be possible to link a DVD Player to a DVD
Recorder and copy a dvd ?
JoeH...
|
Yes, almosst certainly, proviving they have compatible connectors. They
won't copy commercial (protected DVDs though, but would do your own movies
(or any other unprotected disc)
|
Would it copy a protected dvd that can't be copied in a pc ?
JoeH...
|
No - see above.
Also, I personally have never seen a DVD which cannot be backed up via a PC
(that doesn't mean that they don't exist though)

I have tried to copy it in Nero but it said it was copywrite protected.
A friend has lent us a double dvd album of Chicago and Earth Wind and Fire
in concert which is absolutely fantastic, but he bought it in the USA so I
don't think I could buy it here.

Can it alter or harm the original DVD ?
