I thought it had bin snowin through the night but it was a very white frost.

There was still white frost on the ground at 3pm here, (where it had been
shaded from the BYT all day), so what time do you usually get up? :^)

still only 1.1°C when I did arise today. It'll be interesting tomorrow -
I'm taking the car in for it's annual service before 08-30 so will be up
around 07-00 ish. :( Might have some frost to report then. :)

Hey, we had a frost here too last night - but the sun is out and it is
only a little chilly here today :)

This is the sort of weather where mountain tops, say in the Pennines, are a
good deal warmer than the nearby valleys. It was typically well above zero
degrees C at over 3000 feet today.
