It is. Firefox checks automatically for updates and should alert you to
any new versions. It can be set to automatically download any updates
from Mozilla.
On the Mac it even updates on auto pilot if you tell it to. No need to
un install the previous version either.

It wasn't mentioned on my updates link in Firefox browser when I checked
earlier ? I also have it set to update automatically.

It's one of the "nightly" updates so it wont get to the updater...
it's not a "real" release.

They are very minor "test" updates not meant for mainstream use...
that's why they are difficult to find. I think they are incremental
and eventually build into an official release.

to have problems it's the first thing people are going to pick up on.
