It's 1:45AM here in GB, and I'm about to shut down.

I've got the Superbowl game on, but I'm not paying attention.

A piece in the TV guide says it's the 40th Superbowl.
That surprised me; I thought it would be a much older event.
Our top sporting events go back to Victorian days.

I'm waiting for the show during the half-time break.
I wonder what scandal will take place tonight.
Remember last year? Or was it the year before?

Hi...Sea..I am well awake !..It is now 2:25 PM Monday Afternoon here in
Sydney ..Oz....Temperatures are up in the mid 30's oC of course..(not oF )

I would love some of that snow you have there !.. Not fond of summer !

Good to hear from you. I'm awake now too, at 2:34 PM, Monday.
Mid 30's C converts to mid 90's F. That's hot!
You can have all of our snow here in upstate NY. I've had enough of it.
Actually, we didn't get as much snow in January as we did in Dec.
I went to Florida for 2 weeks in January. I loved the warmer temps,
but they didn't go much over 27C/80.6F. Since I went there to swim
in the motel pool, I wouldn't have minded higher temps.
But I understand your lack of enthusiasm for very hot weather.
It can knock all the energy out of you.
Don't worry, your winter will come soon enough! (g)

Late Autumn / Winter can't come fast enough for me ...Sea..Last week the
temperature reached around 45oC here in the outer parts of Sydney..and a
little over 40oC in the City !

I have been reading a post by someone who lives in 'Labrador' Canada
earlier today..She was explaining about having to shovel all the snow off
her car and down her numerous front steps and clear a path for the
car...Well..maybe I don't mean that much snow ....

I hope it cools down for you soon.
Parts of NY are getting heavy snow here right now,
but I think we'll be lucky and escape it.
If we get any snow, they say it will be just a coating.
