donut...
Does anyone know what is causing my new monitor to ' jump' while I am
reading the posts?.

I was reading pmj's reply to Barb's post re: restoring wanadoo.... when I
had read half of pmj's reply the monitor switched back to the beginning of

BoyPete...
Have you checked your graphics drivers are up to date? :)

donut...
No Pete, haven't done that, wouldn't know how! I am wondering whether it
could be OE since it just seems to happen when I am using that prog.

his reply.

andon...
Just on pmj's mail?

donut...
No - this has been happening for a few days but since it happened at that
particular time I thought I would post the query - it seems to be
intermittent.

andon...
Drat. I was hoping that I could spot the magic answer from looking at
the Header in his post and solve your query.

pmj...
LOL!
:-)

The reason for the type of switching you appear to describe is
usually due to the display changing resolution. This would not appear
to be the reason here though :-(

I am sure the nice Mr pmj will be along soon with a much clearer

pmj...
& also it needs to be established whether it's happening with
other Programs, or just with OutLook Express.
In other words, if it really *is* the "Monitor" that is "jumping"
or if it's the *Program* (OutLook Express or whatever) that is
Scrolling or something like that.

That way, she will be able to suss out if it might be something
to do with the Graphics card or Drivers (as BoyPete mentioned)
or not.

Before I could give any sensible suggestions as to what might be
the cause, I would need a better (fuller) description of what is
actually happening...

donut - what do you actually mean by "what is causing my new
Monitor to 'jump' while I am reading the Posts?" ?

& what do you mean when you say that it (the Monitor?) "switched back
to the beginning of his reply"?
