Tyke...

:-)
I just returned from the vets with Billy.
He has had his stitches out now from his little operation last week.

So glad Billy is o.k. It sounds as though he is settling in very well now.

How could Billy fail to settle Russ. No one could resist the love that you
so obviously have for your doggies :-)
Tyke...
|
:-)
Life is never boring with Bedlingtons.
|
|
I reckon he is stopping with us now :-)
Troy's Human...

Very happy to hear that Tyke :-)
They do settle in don't they :-)
Foxy at w*rk...

Patience, perseverance and love :-)
As you already know TH

He handled his little op really well, just took it all his stride and never
bothered his stitches.
Billy is settling in very much now,he is a lot more confident around
people, especially with me.We often have a bit of rough and tumble

That is really good news Russell. Seems like your hard work has paid
off
It sounds as if he had had some sort of trauma in his previous life but
is now beginning to trust you and will no doubt take to Little Tyke too
in due course. Expect he will be posing for her to take his picture
before long

play, something I would not have dreamed possible a few months back.
For some reason he is still very wary of Little Tyke,I'm guessing that there
must be something about her that reminds him of his previous life where I am
sure he was mistreated.
We still have to watch for him piddling in the house now and again but that
is lessening as the days go by.
It is a lot of fun having 3 very active dogs in the house but they do act
like a pack now - fun trying to pet all 3 dogs trying to get your attention
at one!!!
I reckon that Billie is very trainable, already he is picking up the routine
nicely.
So it looks as is we formally have a "herd" of Bedlington Terriers at Tyke
Towers :-)

I never had any doubt. He just needed patience, love and training and I knew
you would give it a good go.

Mrs On is enquiring as to whether you have a vacancy for a
shepherdess. I think she is dreaming of lazy days in your gardens.
Tyke...

LOL
I prefer Bedlingtons to "real" sheep.
We bought some when we moved in here - more trouble than they were worth.
They ate all my best plants plus quite a few of the surrounding properties -
I became very fed up of herding them back home.
|
|
Also I thing we have the highest population of Bedlingtons in South
Australia now ;-)

Aw, sounds like love and patience have won through. Long may you all have
madness and mayhem ;-)
