How are they going to enforce the new postage price rules ?

pmj...
Surely, by charging (the recipient) for any excess Postage?

If we are less than honest couldn't we just post large cards with a 1st or
2nd class stamp on.

Rabbit...
Yes.

Or are they relying on us to take the large cards into the post office to
have a 37p or 44p stamp put on.

pmj...
Well, you can put the right stamp on at home, can't you!

You don't have to take them into a Post Office, for that.

Rabbit...
We are all supposed to have received a size guide.
if you haven't got yours.

If anyone selects the first option would the recipient have to pay the
excess postage ?

Foxy at w*rk...
In a word........Yes is the answer to your excess question Pat

Foxy at w*rk...
Sorry this was posted yesterday but only just arrived today ???

Ali...
Did you use a Second Class Stamp?

BoyPete...
Yes, plus a £1 charge

Rabbit...
I'd imagine they would.

pmj...
Yep.
That's normally what happens, when something is Posted with the
incorrect amount of Postage.

The Recipient has to pay the excess (plus any Surcharge)

linedancer...
I have a size guide Sandra thank's, it just crossed my mind whether people
would bother to check the sizes of cards before posting them, and what the

pmj...
Well, if they don't the Recipient is liable to have to pay the excess.

I don't know how strict they are on enforcing the size/weight limits.

consequences would be if they just posted the large ones, I reckon that
sales of large cards will drop now ;-)

Old Grizzly...
fold them in half ;-)with a sorry note ;-)

pmj...
But if you just fold them in half, they will then end up thicker
than the 5 mm Limit for a "small letter", won't they?
So they will still be due for the extra Postage.

linedancer...
ROFL nice one Len, I like that :-)
