When I log on I am getting this error message:

Microsoft.NET Framework
X
An unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application.
Click continue and application will ignore this error and attempt to
continue.

Look here lots of info available,

& I've modified the URL slightly, to make it shorter (& also to show
(upto) 100 Results per Page, rather than just 10 Results)

Well, as the others have said that's actually a standard (micro$oft)
.NET Framework Error.

That sort of Error can occur with pretty much any Program that is
Running using the .NET Framework. The .NET Framework is something
that a lot of Programs use.

So, to sort it out, you'd need to find exactly *what* Application
it is, that is causing that Error.

If it *is* actually something to do with one of the (many) AOL
Applications, then all you need to do is to just Stop it from
Loading & Running at BootUp.

It's prolly just that since the rest of the AOL stuff has been
UnInstalled, what's left (& there always *is* something left!)
is getting Confuzzled, cos the rest of it's no longer there!

Have you got AutoRuns (from SysInternals)?

Download & Run that (you need to just Run the "Autoruns.exe" File,
from inside the .ZIP File that you Download - no need to Install it -
just Run it directly & you don't need to Extract all the other bits,
when it asks, but you can if you really want to) & it will show you
*all* the things that are Set to Load & Run at BootUp.

There will be *loads* of things, so go to the "Options" Menu &
*Tick* the Option to "Hide Signed Microsoft Entries"

That will then just leave all the other (non-Microsoft) stuff.

Save the Results as a Text File & Post it up.

People can then look through it & help you decide which stuff you
need & which stuff you can don't, so you can Disable any un-necessary
stuff.

When you've found which of the stuff is the left over AOL Stuff,
then you can Delete it from the AutoRuns & also look for a more
efficient way of properly UnInstalling it.

Don't know if this is any help to you Donut,
section 4.5

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

This problem has occurred from the time when I deleted all the components of
AOL in 'Add & Remove Programmes' .

How can I fix it please?

Jeff Gaines...
That's a NET Framework error message, I get lots of those when I make
mistakes in my programs :-(

I would think that the AOL application has left a bit of a mess behind,
most people can write good installers but don't spend much time on
un-installers. Can you run msconfig (Start -> Run -> type in msconfig and
click 'OK'). Have a look on the Startup Tab and see if there are any AOL
bits in there still trying to run. If so clear the CheckBox next to its
name, click 'OK' and re-boot to se if you still get the message.
