Surprise visitors :-)

Not quite all bad today. I posted here in August about a nasty accident we
witnessed involving a couple in their car hitting a deer and going out of
control. They got out of the car (a write off) and looked OK but we stayed
with them until the police arrived in case of after effects - they were not
young. I gave them my address and phone number in case they needed a
witness.

Guess who paid us a visit today? Yep - that couple :-) They were on their

the chain by being helpful to them
What goes around comes around

way from Skegness to their home in York and decided to call on us. They've
both been receiving treatment for problems resulting from the accident but
think they are both OK now :-) They wanted to thank us for what we did (not
much) and give us a Christmas card and a present :-) They stayed for an
hour, had a look round our garden and a chat. We invited them to come again
in the summer.

Isn't that lovely. There are some good people around, makes one have faith
in the human race. Glad they are doing OK. Mind you the bracing air of
Skeggy will have worked wonders.
