I didn't succeed with my question I asked I must be think. My question was:

Yep, that's a standard prob, that can occur with WinXP & it has
a standard way to make it Fixted...

Try Kelly's tweak #18 Right - Search Opens When Double Clicking A Folder

Yep - That Page has a list of probs & ways to make them Fixted - that
prob of "Opening a Drive Opens up the Search Window" can be made Fixted,
by using the .REG File that is on that Page at #18 (on the Right hand
Side of the Table)
Alternatively, just Open up Regedit & Navigate to the Key...
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
& Edit the "Default" (String) Value, so that it has a Value of "none"
Which is what that .REG File on that Page does, anyway, if you Import
(Merge) it into the Registry.
