Hmmm.I can see now...John......How are you doing back in the quiet Cornwell
area of England ?

The Village clock rang out three times
And all the village knew
That the clock was on the blink
And it was only half past two…..
Thomas Morton Thompson
(The vicar of the place)
Shook his head and said in shame
“Its nought but a disgrace”
I have a baby’s head to wet…
A Girl to be a bride….
A thousand Pound’s to fix the Clock?
Oh lord with me - abide……
The Roof is leaking Water….
It drips upon the floor…
Vandals steal our Silver
So we have to lock the Door…..
They break our windows – Steal our Brass
I can’t take too much more…..
Should I wed the girl at half past one?
Instead of half past two…
Baptise the child at half past three
Or was it a Quarter to?
And evensong – what time for that?
Was it six or half past seven?
Will someone fix our Village clock ….
Ohh my dear - - good Heavens!!!!
The Village clock rang out just once
As though it was in pain
