I was given this URL the other day as an alternative to the Met Office
rainfall radar. It is certainly much quicker at loading and there are many
more options to choose from.
One point to watch - the time in the top left-hand corner is an hour ahead
of UK time.

Ta Mike, that is IMHO far better and quicker than the Met Office one, which
sometimes doesn't jbex at all for me.

Just a shame it doesn't cover Jerry Atrick land and Scandinavia.

I was amazed when I first saw this site earlier this week. It is truly
excellent and covers a much larger area than we are used to. And it is
free!! unlike the site I normally use.

Thanks FN and Sandra and, yes, all is well. Was away the start of August
on a cruise up the Norwegian fjords, as far as 71deg north and the midnight
sun. We went from Leith and returned to Tilbury.

On the link I gave there is the capability to select the UK only, which I
like.
