BunnyHare...
Went for a little(?) walk yesterday
5 piccies if you want to have a look

jackie...
Lovely pictures Barb, fancy having to build a wall to stop the church from
going downhill!
the views are lovely, looked a beautiful day!

BunnyHare...
Thanks Jackie
It was quite pleasant. I even took my coat off on the way home

Aries...
Lovely scenery Barb. Is that area very close to where you live? If so,
what a lovely area you live in :)

BunnyHare...
Yes, I should have said. Its the next village to us. Actually the two
villages more or less run into on another. It is a nice area,
countrified but still only 3 miles away from Gloucester and 6 from
Cheltenham

BunnyHare...
11556 steps from my front door, through the village, up the hill and
back to my front door

Aries...
LOL were you wearing a stepometer ?

BunnyHare...
How did you guess

Aries...
wasn't difficult was it LOL

Troy's Human...
In miles please ?

Mudge...
About 34 km and if I knew what "miles" were any more, I'd convert !

Mudge...
My bad -- if I recall (and I don't archive messages) 'e said 11,500
some-odd steps - at about 1 metre per step = about 11,000 metres or
about 30,000 feet which give summat like 6 miles or so - dunno where me
loaf was ????

Sorry bout that but I was listening to the Archers omni and had my
old synaptic computer turned off

BunnyHare...
4.92 apparently

Troy's Human...
That's just about what we class as a nice walk :-)

Daily default walk = 2+ a bit miles

Nice walk = 5 miles

Even nicer walk = 10 miles

Been just doing the daily walk due to the horrible muddy cold weather.
Looking forward to longer ones and better weather :-)

BunnyHare...
Same here, try to aim at least 5 miles whenever possible

Aries...
My goodness, you two are making me feel tired LOL

Aries...
I will be walking more when I have my furbaby :D

BunnyHare...
You sure will. I won't take out fella cos he is too slow ;-))

Foxy at w**k...
Lovely pictures Barb and it looks like it was a lovely walk too

Anita...
I really must remember to take my camera when I go out!
Thanks for the photos Barb, they are always interesting :)

BunnyHare...
Thanks Anita.
Yes, you should try to remember the camera, surprising what you can see.
It's double edged too. I look for things to photograph and at the same
time I am learning more about the camera and, I hope, taking better
photographs

BunnyHare...
Thanks Jen. It was a lovely day and a lovely walk, too. Shame himself
doesn't walk with me so I hve somebody to talk to. I do sometimes talk
to myself but I get strange looks :-))

Foxy at w**k...
Oh me too. I am always talking to myself lol

BunnyHare...
I'm in good company then :-)

noreen...
Barb said she will take me a walk up there sometime ;-)
but seeing it took her all her time to walk up there! think she was kidding
me
but the church is very interesting and the story ;-))

Bill P...
Nice walk.

BunnyHare...
Yes, it was Bill and quite good weather. Breezy up the top of the hill
but warm and sunny down the bottom (of the hill before anybody comments)

JerryAtrick...
Don't know where they were taken, but they are beautiful and thank you very
much for sharing them, The one, ' on the hill,' and the one, 'on the way
down,' says everything there is to be said about the English countryside.

Rabbit...
Nice ones. That's a lovely view from the hill and such a nice clear sky too.

BunnyHare...
Yes I was lucky with the weather cos it can often be a bit misty up
there

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Nice photos Barb, looked like a nice day too.

BunnyHare...
Thanks FN. It was a lovely day. Even took my coat off and put it in my

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
I didn't realise you'd emigrated to warmer climes Barb. ;)

BunnyHare...
Think it was more that the warmer climes came her for a day FN.
Certainly hasn't been that warm since

back pack

Troy's Human...
Thanks for those Barb - nice piccies.

Been checking my map cos I think I ought to remember that area having lived
close by many years ago.

Alas I don't :-( Didn't venture near to there in them days :-(

BunnyHare...
Shame, its nice countryside. Not as good as Lincolnshire, of course ;-)

BunnyHare...
Sorry, I should have made it clear. They were taken in Churchdown which
is the next village to the one where I live, in Gloucestershire.
So glad you liked them

biffo...
A very nice walk there Barb, and the photo's are ok too !!! ;-))))

BunnyHare...
Thanks Biffo. I like to think that taking the camera with me all the
time is giving me practice in using it and, hopefully, the pictures are
getting better

biffo...
Barb, you can only get better "practice makes perfect" ;-))(G)

BunnyHare...
Yep, that's what I thought too. I have noticed that himself doesn't
make so many bad comments now so I must be getting better
next
