on the East coast of Merkin Land. Gifts were exchanged
last night & I broke all my dietary rules. I feel a little funky
but it was worth it. We don't go wild with gifts but today
Bet & I will bring a ton of food for the homeless shelter
along with a donation then it's off to the 'Friends of Animals,'
an organization that I find dear to my heart. Treats for the
critters a few more bucks & Bet & I head for home. We
do this stuff all year. I'm trying to buy my self a spot in
heaven wishing God will forget some of the bad stuff I
pulled in years past. Got the idea from our friend Dickens. :)

Everyone have a great day today. May every day bring my
silversurfer friends the feeling of Christmas in the coming
year. God bless you all.

It's midday plus half an hour here.
In the houses with children they'll all be playing with their persents and
happy as Larry :-)

In the house like ours, whose kids have grown up, the grandparents will be
waiting to see what the grandchildren have had from Father Christmas -
except that our grankids are too old to believe in Father Christmas!

I was about to sign off but I took a last glance at silversurfers
& there was Pam. It sounds like your in for a terrific day, Pam.
I wish I had grand-children to spoil but it's just Bet & me with
my son Tom, daughter Deb & Nora & Dave their spouses. I
would have been a great grandfather. :(

Mike sends greetings to Fudge & Gizmo & wanted everyone
to know our little charity will never make up some of the stunts
I pulled over the years. Mike is the boss in this household &
will squeal on me with pleasure. He's eating a little more then
will sleep for about 20hrs.
