No go again :-((

Had a call this morning to say there was a space on a balloon flight for
this evening if I could get there. Rang daughter and confirmed that she
was free to take me then confirmed the flight
Rang at 4.15 and was told there was a 50-50 chance and to report to the
take off site by 5.45
Drove over there (an hour) then had to hang around waiting for a window
in the weather which never arrived and finally at 6.45 we were told the
wind was still to high so cancelled again!
Ah well maybe next time

weather I get a 12 months extension on my ticket!!

daughter over here with her car to take me to the launch site

Wasn't too bad because daughter had her partner and his little boy with
her so afterwards we went for a burger and chips (the young lad's
choice, and not Macs) then we drove home through all the little villages
instead of along the motorway

Shame *but* the good thing is that the light might not have been so good for
piccies at that time ( and we do want piccies). Maybe third time lucky and
you will get a lovely clear day.

The annoying thing was that about an hour after the flight was called
off the wind dropped and it was a lovely clear evening with bright
sunshine!
