Saxman...
I've just installed FileZilla, Firefox, Sunbird and Thunderbird on my memory stick
from here.

I imported my address book into Thunderbird (good backup).

Got my account on FileZilla (don't have to remember it anymore).

I can use Firefox on other computers now without installing.

Sunbird will allow me to carry an electronic calendar from computer to computer now.

Aries...
Looks interesting John, thank you :)
I love FireFox ;)

You can Run Skype from a (USB) Memory Card/Stick/ThumbDrive as well.
(& Save your Contact Info on the Drive, rather than on the PC), if
you want - no need for any fancy Software - just use a CommandLine
Switch, to tell it to Store the Info on the USB Memory thing, instead
of on the Hard Drive

I dunno why so many Applications make it so difficult to do that.

It really shouldn't need anything fancy to be able to do that, but
a lot of Applications store their stuff all over the place - in various
Folders on the Hard Drive & in the Registry.
