I appreciate that it needed some updating, but he has been there since very
early, ripping out kitchen, doors, skirting and more or less everything not
nailed down. That was his business, but then he proceeded to make a massive
bonfire in his back garden and burn it. The fire was huge, with ash blowing
everywhere on such a lovely hot sunny morning. I'm not very good at
complaining, so I was just watching from the bedroom window, when my son
noticed that some of the bark covering our front garden was beginning to
catch fire. So I dashed out and made him aware, but got the expected
response, ie not much.

However, I got the last laugh because the wind started blowing the fire and
ash towards his house, and his upvc back door started to buckle, plus his
fascias, soffits and guttering have all melted in a lovely wavy pattern!
