My first attempt at making a film with Flash Pro 8. The sound went all wrong
though. But that'll come later when I iron out the wrinkles. Did you manage
to work out the 1.5 one?

The Birthday cards were made with Swish 1.5

This was made with Flash 8 Pro. Have you got any version of Flash in your
PC? I'll try making one in Flash 7 as it gives you the options to do this.

Yep, don't ask me the version though, it should be a newish one though.

That's if I can remember how I made the other one. LOL As it's not an easy
thing to use.

Well Rabbit, said it took quite a while on the white screen before it loaded
up fully. Don't forget I'm only learning. Most flash things have a blue line
telling you it's loading. I've not got that far advanced yet to do that.
Look at the bottom of you screen that tells you if it's loading in.

Well it worked fine for me - no problem at all, appeared straight away
and the sound was there too. I am using IE6

I left it on much longer and it did eventually appear, it loaded much
quicker with your first attempt.
I think you are doing very well, I like all the birthday cards you do using
swish!

Yep that jbexes OK. I thought it wasn't going to at first 'cos I got the
white box for quite a while but the clip did eventually appear. So thinking
maybe I hadn't left the first one long enough I've just retried that one but
the first one still doesn't do anything.

Rabbit, I would have sent you a copy of flash 8 via email But it's a bit too
big 571 MB But there are other options.

So far your Flash is the only one I've come across which didn't jbex with
whatever version I have and I've been to quite a few .swf sites. However
with the first one the info bar said it was my ActiveX, something which has
given me the odd problem since I got this machine but with only a couple of
sites and I'd need pmj to remind me how we got that fixted. I can remember
what we did but not where we did it :-(

Even when I Loaded the .SWF (ShockWave Flash) File directly
into the Browser...

(Rather than having it as part of the HTML Page that is full of all
those AngelFire Adverts Scripts & Tracking stuff), I got the Sound OK,
but no Pictures or Video.
:-(

I think that's cos it's a Flash Version *8* File & that Version uses
special Codecs for the Video.

I don't have ShockWave Flash Version 8, I have Version 7
