Started on my homemade beer - it really is good !

Hmm - bit dark but I suppose the proof of the pudding is in the eating -
or proof of the beer is in the drinking :-))

Enjoy :-)

Looks like Guinness to me! How long did it take to make from start to
glass TH and is it easy to do ?

Looks like a knob of ice-cream in a glass of Cola to me. :)

It's called "Real Ale".
Obviously of no interest to a lager swigging football fan :-)
Do try to be more discerning FN :-)

I would, if you appreciated a real man's drink. Dry strong cider that is.

what make of cider do you drink FN ? I find most cider far to sweet even
tho it's classed as 'dry'

Could never get on with the Strongbow, Merrydown or Woodpecker dry. I
prefer Blackthorn from the barrel, that's very dry, but expensive, and
unfortunately the only two pubs I knew around here were both free houses and
went broke. Mind you at between 5% - 6% it's quite strong.

I remember having draught cider in Devon yonks ago when Tony and I were
first married but I don't remember now what I thought of it, but probably
not a lot because I was not a drinker in those days LOL

Thank you for the offer, TH.
Don't mind if I do. Mmmm, good!

Glad you enjoyed it :-)
Do have another :-)

|
|
It was made from a kit - no hops - all that was done before I started. I've
never done beer from basics. Must be very satisfying but oh so much work

Indeed it is I used to brew my own and have done a "Full Mash" from
start to finish ,on average it used to take a full day for 40 pints.
The result however was well worth the time involved :-)
|
:-( Top of the range kit - £16.50 for the 40 pint kit - well worth it :-)

Bad photo ! OK it's a dark bitter but not as dark as it looks - nothing
like as dark a liffey water :-)
