BunnyHare...
Well after all the waiting around we finally had lift off.

Tickettyboo...
ooh lovely stuff Barb!
Looks like it was worth the wait, its fun to see the balloon being
inflated , isn't it? Scenery was lovely, aint we lucky to live in this
green and pleasant land? :-)

BunnyHare...
Yes, the more you see of this country of ours the more you appreciate it

Pam the goose...

Smokey...
Brill photo's Barb, well done. It looks fantastic, but I don't think I could
do it :-((

Oh, Barb, they are beautiful!
They're not like real photoes at all except for the beautiful sunsets. The
others are views you just don't see, aren't they?
I love them:)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...

It was still a bit dodgy though. At 12.30 I was told that there was a

shaz...
How wonderful. Fantastic pics.

jackie...
So pleased you got there after all the hassle. I loved the pictures Barb
felt as though I was there think it was all worth the wait to get your
flight. Thanks for showing them Barb.

50:50 chance but the Worcester site might not be suitable and we could
be asked to report to a different site. Then as we were just ready to
set off for Worcester we had a message to report to Evesham.
Arrived at the field and had a safety briefing, three or four smaller
balloons were sent up to check the wind direction and speed then they
started to unfasten the balloon from the basket! Actually they were
just moving the balloon higher up the field to ensure that we would
clear the power lines! So eventually we had lift off.

Splodge...
Sooper pics Barb. Sounds like you had a great time, plus the champers of

BunnyHare...
Ah well the champers was a bit wasted on me. I had orange juice

course.
Splodge

The flight was super hardly seemed as if we were moving but we travelled
about 10 miles in about an hour. We wouldn't go too high as the wind
was strong up there and the pilot said if we went any higher we could
well end up in Redditch or Birmingham and it might be difficult finding
a landing site!
If you get a chance to have a balloon flight I recommend it.

Rabbit...
I would love one.

BunnyHare...
Go for it if you do get the chance. Yes it is frustrating when you are

Rabbit...
Oh I would, I would.

all geared up for the flight then the weather takes a hand but it was
well worth the wait.

Rabbit...
Unfortunately all that I can find for ballooning on web-search are several hours
drive from here, two maybe three hours drive. I'm sure there must be one

BunnyHare...
Probably something to do with the rather large airport not too far away.

closer and your piccies have whetted my appetite to try and since I'm soon
about to start SKIING ( spending the kid's inheritance) I might just look

BunnyHare...
In that case then

Rabbit...
Yes, well that's just a tad too far for a day trip and there's lots moor on
the agenda for the SKIING trips before SA :-)

into it more.

Anyway here are a few pictures

Wrinklie One =?iso-8859-1?Q?=A9?=...
Did you wave at anyone... did they wave back.. You should have had

BunnyHare...
Yep, waved at the family as I left (They were shouting "any last
requests" ) Waved to a few people as we passed over

BunnyHare...
Yes

someone take one of you by the gondola

BunnyHare...
I did but it's not for publication :-))

Old Grizzly...
isnt that painfull? ;-)

BunnyHare...
er there's no answer to that

noreen...
Coward ;-))))))

Rabbit...
Beautiful piccies and you did get a good time with the sunset too. Thank you

BunnyHare...
Yes, the flights are timed to start an hour before sunset so you should
get the setting sun as you are finishing your flight

I enjoyed those.

Graham...
Nice pictures, Barb. I just knew you would love it :-))

Wally...
That looks really good Barb and some nice pics, thank you for
showing those.
Glad you enjoyed it.

BunnyHare...
I do my best :-) Just snaps really.Unfortunately as we passed over the
river and could see the balloongs reflection I had just turned the
camera off!

I just knew you would love it :-))
Oh I did. Would love to go again if it wasn't for the hassle of geting
to go to the launch site

Old Grizzly...
so how do you get home from the landing place Barb?

BunnyHare...
The recovery vehicle follows and is in radio contact with the pilot.
Once the balloon is packed back on the trailer you all pile into the
landrover and get ferried back to the launch site.
Some people follow the recovery vehicle and collect the members of their
family who have been on the flight. My daughter and son in law went for
a pub meal!

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
