Yep. Just thought TH needed reminding that the commercialised thingy wasn't

I've seen daffodils in bud growing wild at the side of the road - I'm
watching them very closely so as I can get a photo before some sticky
fingered sod pinches them.

And up here tonight I've had open windows and the ceiling fan on :-) It's
wet outside but very very mild.

Mind you - have you had a look at Anita's web cam lately ? It's showing
daffodils growing in her garden already. That's Walthamstow for you - much
warmer than anywhere else. Can't remember the URL but no doubt Anita will
give it - thanks Anita :-)

I also know of a sheltered spot where I'll be able to see the first wild
primroses of the year in less than a month's time.
