Been some rain here in Cornwall but not so much as forecast I think - the
ground is just damp, no standing water to be seen.

Bit of rain early doors, but not bright shiny and warm (about 11°C -
51.8°F) right now.

It's been a damp and miserable all morning, the kind of damp which goes
right through you, that was interspersed with some heavy but short showers.
So I come home early to find the BYT making a valiant attempt to get through
the clouds but it's still damp and chilly. The Daily Express today has front
page headlines saying that the storm which hit the east of America is
heading across here, where it will meet another storm before it hits the UK
later tonight. No severe weather warnings on the met Office site so maybe it
was a quiet news day :-)

Hello Mike, hello everybody,
No I did not get a valentine card :(
A lovely day here after a dry night. At 7am the sky was yellow but it has
turned into a lovely mild sunny day.
Just lazing today - have a meeting tonight.
