now back on his fleece fast asleep and snoring. LOL

Good afternoon Noreen, we have been out and it is a very cold wind, my ears
are still aching
I did not wear my hat today. Going out to lunch with friends today.

The gales which wee forecast for here overnight didn't materialise, the
early evening winds actually died down. This morning was wet and dark and
it's still wet and dark, vehicle headlights have never been off all day,
except for those *superior beings* who don't think they need them 'cos the
clock says it's day time. There's always a few :-( Despite the rain it's
exceedingly mild out there almost warm in fact, if it hadn't been wet I
could actually have walked about outside without a jacket. I saw in the
press that 2005 was Scotland's third warmest year since records began.

Got to go to Truro this afternoon, at the invitation of Motability, from
whom I lease my car, to 'test drive' a static rig designed by the Transport
Road Research Laboratory to measure braking times and such like. I've no
idea what is involved but it sounded like a good idea at the time :-)

Please enlighten me as to what that is in plain English. Hope it was fun

What is ASDA?

It got it's name from Associated Dairies and was at one time one of the
smaller players in the supermarkets over here. Then WalMart took them over
about 2 or 3 years ago. Now officially known as ASDA/WalMart but still
called ASDA by us plebs :-)
