Have just 'phoned my daughter - of course, small G'daughter has to come on

I like it! Isn't it great when your grandchildren act exactly as their
parents once acted and you can just smile and nod sagely

for a chat......

She (G'daughter - aged nearly 4) is exhausted - why?
Today is the day she just *had* to be a Flower Fairy.
In all this heat, she had to decide today was the day to wear a full velvet
/ brocade dress!

Me (to daughter) "Why did you let her?"

"Mum, have you tried arguing with her - she's worse than I was!"

Oh, what just punishment - LOL ;-)

I remember my mother telling me she hoped I would have a daughter as
stubborn as I was. Well, she got her wish! lol

When my daughter hit her teens, I 'phoned my parents and apologised for
everything I had put them through.
My Dad's comment was - Oh you have a teenage daughter, welcome to a
nightmare!!

My grandmother's favorite saying was "We grow too soon old, too late
smart!" Boy, I can really relate to that! lol I too apologized to my
mother for "that awful time in my life." She just smiled.
