was discharged from the RN because he had negative buoyance and so couldn't
learn to swim without wearing a life jacket, but I've never heard of no
sense of balance. Could be a good excuse after a couple of drams, though
:-)

For a stomach churning experience take the ferry from Scrabster to Shetland.
Is it rough today, I asked the barman. He looked at the spacious empty bar
and said when it's like this it's rough. I'll have the fish n' chips I
replied. Coming back it was even worse.
