Put a padlock on me purse this morning and spent a few lovely hours there
today, including lunch in the restaurant. Well why not - I'm worth it lol.
So many spring flowers coming through, but a lot of walking. Dare I believe
that spring is now here?? A breath of fresh air has done me the world of

Paul Jeffree...
Nice on a sunny "spring" day.

When I were a nipper, my father was a Fellow of the RHS and we lived near
Cobham, so used to cycle to Wisley occasionally. He had some fruit trees on
trial there, but it was the main gardens that were the draw even then ('40s
& early '50s).

The other draw for us nippers was Wisley airfield, the other side of the A3,
used by Vickers for test flights of their various aircraft. Of course the A3
was an ordinary single carriageway road then, quite OK for cycling!

good.

I went with a long-standing lady friend who has given me a brochure and
wants me to do a cruise with her next year. Verrry tempting, and I'm just
off to look at the brochure wiv me afternoon cuppa.

Foxy at w**k...
Oh Jan how exciting :-)

What is RHS or did you mean BHS ???

Splodge...
No, RHS as in Royal Horticultural Society, Head Office etc etc, just off the
A3 near the M25. Their gift shop is something else:)
