For the Genealogists

For anybody researching their family history with links in Dorset you
may find this site invaluable.

An Online Parish Clerk (OPC) researches all the available historical
data they can find on a parish. Records are transcribed, and in order
to promote further private research are made FREELY available to any
researcher. This will include census, parish transcripts, bishop's
transcripts and churchwardens accounts, overseers accounts, land tax
records, postal directory extracts, church & village histories, etc.

I've found lots of info on Wally's rellies in Beaminster. :-)

What a fantastic site, My Dads cousin was the Punch and Judy man at Swanage
in the 1900's there is a picture of his Punch and Judy box on the beach

One side of Wally's tree was a real headache but the branch I'm working
