Serious replies only please!
The date in the 'sent' column gives mm/dd/yy - I would rather have dd/mm/yy.

Does your clock show it the same way ? If so try changing the way the clock
shows the date. Go to control panel--regional and language options--regional
options tab and click on customise then date. There a drop down list there,

take your pick. I'm not 100% sure that'll change the date settings in OE but
worth a look until somebody comes up with another suggestion :-)

Hi, I thik FN and Sandra are in the right place.
Control Panel : Regional and Language Options
On the Regional Options Tab there is a drop down list to pick the country
you are in.
Make sure it says English ( United Kingdom).
Not sure if it then needs a reboot, at the least you will have to close
and reopen OE to see if it does what you want.

I think it's,
Start Menu > Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Regional
Options Tab > Customize > Time Tab > Time format
That's where it is in my Windows XP Home Edition.

Thanks for reply FN but sorry it didn't work here.

Actually it's the *Date* Tab, (in the [Customize...] Button in Regional
& Language Options Control Panel thingy) that you need to Switch to,
to change the Format of the *Date*
Choose "dd/MM/yy" (or "dd/MM/yyyy"), - in the "Short Date" DropDown Box
- depending on whether you want 2 or 4 Digit Years showing.
You can also change the format of the "Long Date" as well, if you want.
(You can actually *OverType* what's in the DropDown List, you don't
have to just Select from what's already there - that's not immediately
apparent)
