Poopter problem.

No not mine! lol

My daughter who also has NTL Cable Broadband, XP, IE6 is frequently losing
her connection.

We talked on Skype yesterday for about 30 minutes and the connection dropped
4 times.
We connected almost immediately. This dropped connection happens at other
times too and is causing great frustration.
She tried to speak to NTL the other day but the chap that answered was
possibly Asian and she couldn't understand him. :-(

Before she calls in 'the man who knows all about pooters' can anyone suggest
any other cause for this dropped connection?

I read recently in another group, similar problems were the result of a
dodgy NTL cable modem. Which NTL replaced.

I've got the same as your daughter Jamps, and I was going to post here to
ask if anyone else was being driven potty by the disconnections recently.
It's been OK for about the last 24 hours, so here's hoping..
