MCC...
Good morning everyone.

biggeordie...
Good morning....and to everyone else....

Rabbit...
Wet and dull here but no wind today and surprisingly mild out there with the
wet stuff falling steadily. By the look of the sky it's going to fall all
day too.
Good morning one and all.

Hope you are all well. Special thoughts for Tyke's Mum and Mum-in-law.

Damp and mild here in Queen Camillaland.

biggeordie...
Damp in the carbuncle too.

Have a good day.

BunnyHare...
Morning all
Damp here too. Don't think it is raining at the mo but it has been most
of the night
Enjoy your day, whatever you choose to do

Pam the goose...
Morning Mike et al:)
Miserable day here, grey and wet.
Yes, special thoughts for Tyke and his family. Hard when
you're half way round the world from those you love.
Hope everyone has a good day:)

biggeordie...
Have a nice day everyone.

~~seadancer~~...
Good day to all. I know it's afternoon where you are. (g)
It's 8:02 here. Temp is 19°F / -7°C It's gray and overcast.
But I shouldn't complain. It's snowing hard downstate.
They say we won't be getting the snow where we are.
My thoughts go out to Tyke dealing with sickness in the family.
As Pam said, the distance makes it even harder for him.

Anita Carter...
Wow, it is cold there - it is very mild here in London, rained all night and
is still raining at 13.30 - looks as if it is set in for the day. Please
don't send that bitter cold and snow here :))

~~seadancer~~...
The Gulf Stream keeps you warmer. Don't worry. (g)

Anita Carter...

I. Noddie-Doff...
in the very East Midlands-England are feeling benefit of it at the moment --

noreen...
Morning MIke think we got your weather too ,have a good day ;-))

Anita Carter...
Morning Mike, morning everybody,

Wet and mild here - been raining all night and still is.
I have no idea what I am going to do today - will just take it as it comes
;)

Hope those not too well are beginning to feel better and those that are
well - stay well

I suppose Sandra (Rabbit) is hogging it all to herself again !!!!!! Ive

Rabbit...
I ain't admitting nuffink :-)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Well that's par for the course then. :)

never felt as cold as I do in this part of Britain-this time of year. Thenwe

Rabbit...
This winter has so far been a very mild one here, I've not even had the
heating on full yet, but we could get winter in April here :-)

get it dry and drier in the summer. Can't win !

Marg Three-Sweatershirts. ;o )
Oh I do hope so

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Some are worrying about it though:

~~seadancer~~...
Looks as if it's still open to argument.
Only time will tell.

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Don't think we'll be around to see the final outcome though, thank
goodness. :)

~~seadancer~~...
True, but our grands will... or our great-grands.
It's frightening to think what our progeny might have to face.

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Well with the way the world's population seems to be increasing I would
think widespread starvation is on the cards too. :(

~~seadancer~~...
Africa is already seeing widespread starvation.
I can't understand why we spend so much on space
exploration, but so little on solving the world food problem.

Rabbit...
What I don't understand though is that if it's the *greenhouse* effect why
they don't just ban B&Q/Focus/Homebase etc from selling greenhouses :-)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Tha's lost it lass!!! :)

Rabbit...
Nah it's these unanswerable question I awaken wondering about. I've also
wondered why * If Jimmy cracked corn and nobody cared* why did they bother
to write a song about it :-)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
I thought the lyrics went "Jimmy cracked coer and I don't care - - -". So
everyone else might care. :)

Rabbit...
Yebbut, everybody sings * Jimmy cracked corn* and that's a lot of I's :-)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Bet it's not a majority though. :)

Rabbit...
Well have you ever sung or know anybody who has sung * Jimmy doesn't crack

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Not many. :)

Rabbit...
I rest my case :-)

Flyiñg Ñuñ 2°°6 +...
Too heavy for you is it then? :)

corn* ???:-)

Tyke...
Thanks Sea.

I saw on the news that parts of the US are suffering from deep snow.

Pam and you are right ,the distance is making this worrying time far worse.

jackie...
Good morning Paul, it has been raining but has stopped for now but still
feels chilly.
Have a good day.

noreen...
Good morning Paul and Jackie ,not nice one at all very persistant rain I
think , seeingas how i haven't been out in it yet.
Just going to myDaughters as usual today. Hope you have a nice day and the
weather improves ;-))))))

Jackie...
Good morning Noreen, not a lot of rain but dull and miserable here.
Enjoy yourself with the family

jackie...
Good morning Mike and everyone. Damp here but not very mild, Delboy did not
want to go out this morning - he does not like `wet` !!
My thoughts are with Tyke and his family too.

~~seadancer~~...
Hi, Tyke. We didn't get the brunt of the storm here, thank goodness..
Yes, the distance makes things hard for you right now.
When my mom was ill, she lived near my sisters, but
we were several hours away (not as far as you are though).
Problems arose as to who was doing their share to help.
Our not being near-by limited our ability to help, but we did our best.
When the hard times came, the travelling took a lot out of us, as did
living out of a suitcase and not sleeping in our own beds, etc.
It added just enough extra tension to make it extremely difficult.
We were exhausted as well as saddened by worry and/or grief.
At the time, we hadn't thought this out or made allowances for
ourselves, and I suffered from guilt over things I couldn't control.
But then my cousin pointed out that the distance was a huge factor
in the whole matter and should be considered when judging.
So there you are. Go easy on yourself. Do your best to see that
your mom is taken care of and that is all you can do, except to show
concern and keep in touch. Remember that mothers always
understand. My mom used to tell me to go home and rest. She
hated to see me upset. Mothers tend to be selfless when it comes
to their kids. Good luck to all. It will all work itself out. You'll see.
