My sick monitor that is. Today it has behaved perfectly. Must be because
I went to PC World at lunchtime and had a play on their display of about 18
different TFTs.

I liked the Samsung:
But at almost £170 I think it's a tad pricy - the ones cheaper than that
were either smaller or only up to 1024 x 768 resolution. I have both my
pooters set at higher resolution than that. Don't know whether it's my
imagination or their setting up of the monitors, but the pictures didn't
appear as crisp as the ones on my CRT 17" one set at 1280 x 1024.

And it's behaving well today too - must really have got it scared -
especially since next door have an inviting looking skip out front. LOL

Rabbit...
I told you Sod's Law will come into play. It'll play nicely until the shops
are shut for the C*******s holidays, you know how lucky you are :-)

Yep thought of that too. So might borrow the FHL's spare monitor on
Friday - just in case. :)

BoyPete...
The TFT's I've looked at all seem inferior i pic quality to a good CRT.

Might not change then. Although it seems difficult to find a shop that
still displays CRT monitors, so presumably they don't stock them. Novateck

I'm running a 20" Iiyama Vision Master 502 atm, Bought at a comp. fair for

Yep I read that earlier Pete. 20" would be a big for my limited width - 19"
might be a little tight - 17" is ideal. Have to see what this one does in
the forseeable future. It's been behaving itself today, to the point where
I'm beginning to wonder whether it actually misbehaved at all on those last
two days. Who knows I might be able to get a bargain in the sales.

£50. No complaints.

still do though.
