Freecom Digital TV receiver -brokted :-(

Not happy - it suddenly stopped working :-)

Error message when trying to start it "Captrue Device failure".

No light on the device now.

Fed up - one thing after another failing .... It *must* be me :-(

I got that message once yesterday and had to uninstall and re-install -
that got rid of it.

Tried that - no luck. It refuses to re-install. I think it's died - the
little light on the stick went off and won't come back on whatever I do.

Got the same message first time I installed cured by a re-install
though, no problems since.

Just opened my system up to install a wireless card and when I powered
up I got the same error, I went to 'add new H/W' and did a new
installation even though the drivers and S/W were already there. It
seems it's sensitive to the USB port it was last installed on. On
checking I have three separate installs of the driver.

Did you change its USB port before the prob occurred?

I'd changed ports a couple of times with no problems. The stick was plugged
into a port and it just happened - light no longer lit. Tried everything.

Good news - replacement arrived this morning (well done Amazon). As soon as
I plugged it in the light came on. Driver installed no problem - everything
working again :-)
