I have just been on MSN and Noreen cannot get into UPS - gets `server cannot
be found`
she is with Plusnet - does anyone else have this problem??

Can she get a net connection or is it just UPS ? I lost my Plusnet
connection for about ten minutes this afternoon and there were problems with
a BT pipe for Plusnet users. It's repaired now according to service status
but if anybody still has problems they should try rebooting.

Me too also as well, not only rebotted but disconnected the router from
the power and phone lines before trying again, Seems ok atm

Got in to UPs again on the Plus net news reader , but seems NIN is the
problem , can't be cos I havent paid ,cos it is paid till March 2006 ,

What is the (full, complete & exact) Error Message that you are/were
getting?
& also, try Ticking the NNTP (News) Logging Option (if you haven't
already got it Ticked), in:
Menu>Tools>Options...>Maintenance
Then you (we?) can look in the Log File (which is called:
{nntp.server}.log - in the Store Root Folder), so as to see what's
going wrong & where.
That will tell us if it's a Server prob, (or a Network prob)
or a News Client prob (or a combination of both or all 3!)

This came through at 17:06 on my RSS feed
The 622 central pipe that was earlier causing connection issues has now
been restored to normal service.
Anyone still having problems reconnecting should power down their
hardware and disconnect it from the telephone line before trying again.
Should the connection fail after this, then please contact support in
the usual fashion

It seems as far as I can tell it is NIN with mine anyway I have e-mailed
them to see if they can sort it out ;-))))
