Ergo...
Paddy is on 'Who Wants to be a Millionaire' ~ he's got through the easy
questions and his first £1000 is safe.

Aries...
LOL, good one :)

Chris Tarrant says to him "right then Paddy here's your question for £2000
quid..." Name the famous Great Train Robber, was it ~ A.) Ronnie Barker,
B.) Ronnie Corbett, C.) Ronnie O'Sullivan or D.) Ronnie Biggs."

Jackie...
Good one. When I saw the heading I thought perhaps you were going on the
show????
I wonder if anyone from UPS would give it a try????

Paddy says "I'll take the money thanks Chris."

Chris Tarrant looks at him bemused and tells him he still has all 3
lifelines left but Paddy is adamant he's had enough. Chris says "Give him a
big hand everyone Paddy goes back to Ireland with £1000"

He then turns to Paddy and says "Before you go you'll want to know the
answer."

Paddy says "Nah it's OK Chris, I knew the answer."

Chris shouts "You knew the answer?! Why didn't you answer?! Are you mad?!"

Paddy says "I might be mad Chris, but I am not a grass!"

noreen...
Nice one Eric;-))

~~seadancer~~...
Eric - I don't get the joke.
Can you explain? Thanks.

Ergo...
I am assuming that you heard about the train robbery in the early 1960's?
The other thing you may need to know is that a 'Grass' is what Merkins call
a Stoolie (Stool Pigeon) Informant.

~~seadancer~~...
Oh! No wonder I didn't get the joke.
I had no idea what "grass" meant.
I've learned another UK word! (g)
Thanks, Eric.
