BunnyHare...
I know I had to miss the Leeds meet :-(( - but had a really great night at
the NEC Birmingham listening to Quo

Rabbit...
There's nothing like live concerts, particularly the *oldies* who appreciate

BunnyHare...
That's true. During the interval before they came on stage Francis Rossi
was wandering around the hall. Think he maybe wanted to buy a T=shirt :-))

David C...
Nah, probably wanted to sell some ice-creams.......:-)

(Rossi is the local ice-cream-van company in thhis part of the world,
& Francis is "related", allegedly........)

their audience. Unlike what I've heard about many of the *youngsters* who
just appear ( usually late) on stage for about half an hour.

The show opened with a Swiss group - Vivian - very loud but the
granddaughters approved so they must have been ok. They were followed by
TwentySevens - a group from Brisbane. Not quite as loud and not quite to
the taste of the granddaughters. They did some good original stuff though
to finish off the first half
Then on came Quo and the whole place erupted and everybody got to their
feet. They started to play and people started jigging around, playing air
guitars etc. Magic! I think the granddaughters were a bit surprised to see
all these recycled rockers!
The group played all the old favourites and several new ones and must have
been on stage for about two hours. Midway through we were treated to a
really great drum solo.
Today I have hardly any voice and my back and legs think they have been on a
ten mile route march!
One of my granddaughters has a video she took on her phone of gran
headbanging and she says she is open to offers for it!!

Foxy at w*rk...
Oh I have no money being the time of year but surely she cannot dissapoint
us all

Dafydd C...
Thanks Barb.
Keep on rockin'!
The young-un's just don'r understand the power of rock..........
Perhaps we won't bother to queue for the seats at Braintree :-)

BunnyHare...
Oh you should go. If you don't fancy the support groups then do what a lot
of folk did in Birmingham and just go in for the second half
If you like Quo it will be well worth queuing. Easier to book on line
though :-))

David C...
I'm going already................. ( tickets bought & delivered:-)

BunnyHare...
Oh good

It's just that as oldies, we were intending to get there early & grab
seats. (Venue holds 4K peeps, only 1K seated.)

BunnyHare...
Well I think the seats were a waste of space. We had seats but everybody
else stood up so you just joined them
Funnily enough nobody stood up for the support acts

Cheers, DC, still practicing air-guitar.

Rabbit...
And I was going to buy you one for C******s ;-)

David C...
Droll, very droll............

Rabbit...
Well I thought your old one was worn out ;-)

DC

("Buy" a present? I thought that you intended to re-cycle an item from
your loft collection:-)

Rabbit...
Nah I'm now recycling from the back of cupboards, dust mainly but I'm sure
somebody would buy it if I put it on Ebay :-)

David C...
Que (?) the e-bay song, methinks:-)

noreen...
Fab Barb I will start off with 10, bob that is glad you had a good night
;-))))

donut...
So pleased you enjoyed it Barb.
Speak to you soon.

BunnyHare...
