had a phone call

Just had a phone call from Noreen. She has settled down now but she was
rather annoyed today, mostly because no one seemed to be telling her what
was happening. When they did eventually tell her there was no chance of her
going down to theatre today she had been without food since last night and
hadn't had a drink since 6am. At least when she told them how hungry and
thirsty she was feeling they did bring her something. She has now had her
evening meal and is lying in bed watching telly and playing the lady. She
decided to call me on her mobile as the nurse wasn't looking and the woman
in the bed opposite was using a mobile :-)
Says she has got over her annoyance now and just wants to get the op out of
the way. She sends you all her love and says she is feeling fine so not to
