Well it's only up to 17.9°C (64.2°F) in the shade by my pond so far. We're
expecting around 21°C later - but we achieved that yesterday too.

I am pleased that you mentioned that, FN - but I am afraid the answer is
NO. I guess I had better get one on the stairlift and bring it down -
just cannot negotiate the space between the railings and the stair lift

Incidentally, despite their forecast of 21°C max today, it's now 23.7°C
(74.7°F) in the shade by my ponds. :)

No, I have two floor fans and 2 table fans ;))
yes, it is exttremely hot here - much more than what they said it will
be - we have all the windows and doors open - there is a breeze out
there. But it is no cooler ;)

Peaked at just oner 25°C (77°F) here this afternoon (38°C in the car when I
first got in to go to the city). Dropped down to 20°( 68°F ) in the garden
right now.

Solid and steady wet stuff falling here and looks like it's here to stay for
the day. But, the wind has gone and considering how grey the sky is, it's
bright and mild out there. I had intended weeding between the driveway slabs
today ( back breaking stuff ) so I'm not sure if I'm glad or sad it's
raining :-)
