Good Friday the cross was carried in procession but they changed the
times and I didn't see the bit in the paper so no pictures from that
:-((
The cross is planted in front of the church, by the Garden of
Remembrance and covered with oasis on Easter Saturday
Then on Easter Sunday people from the church and those who wish to
remember relatives place a flower or flowers on the cross

The cross and flowers will now stay there until the end of the week and
may even have more flowers added

Beautiful Barb. We had an Easter cross like that outside a church I used
to attend in Chicheste, not seen another one until I saw yours :)

I had never heard of it until we moved here. Not sure if it happens in
other parts of Gloucestershire either
