This is when free skating meant just that. Curry was great.
Now everyone competing is hampered by rules that make
every skater the same. Boring!
John
Ps. Curling is still my new favorite & so is Curley.
Not Curley Joe but Curley or is it Curling or maybe
Curley or Curley Joe. Please stop me. Bam! Thanks.
:-)

Hi FN: Firebird was on the money in many ways. Eddie Eagle was
just what the doctor ordered. He was everyman & I too felt he was
the star of the games. Everyone loved Eddie Eagle. You can be proud
of Torville & Dean. They are still the standard for ice dancers everywhere.
The best of the best.
The Olympic committee with its, everyone must skate the same routine
spoiled a great event. We have many Olympic skaters train in my state,
Connecticut. Some even became citizens & live here especially the Russians.
God only knows why. I forgot about the curling gold medal. All jokes
aside it's a very interesting sport. Well enough of that, FN. Sleep tight.
