This week they go from Newcastle to Hull.
Will they be stopping in the middle to see the world's oldest lifeboat, or
the seals and wading birds on the tidal sands and mud flats of the Tees
estuary, or perhaps the massive port facilities? Or will they mysteriously
skip from Hartlepool to Whitby?

But more importantly will they linger over Froggie county ;-)

If I remember we get a quick view of the Transporter Bridge and the steel
works, then it's all over :-(

Actually quite a good tour of the Transporter.
Ironically, with at least three major bridge builders in the Tees valley,
the transporter bridge was built by a Scottish firm.

Oh dear - Football First (Channel 401), Coast (Channel 102) or Casualty

Good job I've got two recorders innit? :)

This from Radio Times
6/8 - Newcastle to Hull
The beauty of this series has often been its ability to uncover coastal
oddities that most of us would have passed by without a second look. But
there's been a sea change of late with items that, while interesting,
aren't exactly amazing. This week, for instance, Neil Oliver and team
travel from Newcastle to Hull, briefly visiting Middlesbrough's Transporter
Bridge, examining the origins of Whitby jet and the erosion at Filey, and
learning a little about the Venerable Bede and William Wilberforce. It's
gently informative and entertainingly packaged, but Coast could still do
with more reports that inspire a "Fancy that!" reaction.
