Congrats to you all FB to the children and yourselves.
Such a good feeling when all your hard work shows up isn't it.

and eat quietly. On Sunday when we went out for lunch, he sat up at

How lovely that your Son managed so well and your Daughter played such a
good part
I expect they enjoyed themselves too to receive lots of praise. Great!

the table properly, ate quietly, concentrated on his meal and even
managed to cut up most of it himself. He even asked the waitress for
a "s'oon" for the gravy. At the end he put his fork on the plate, went
to put the spoon to the right, then moved it to the left and placed
the knife on the right. All through the meal when he'd finished
cutting his food, he placed the knife across the top of the plate.

He did everything absolutely right - even the cutlery which we hadn't
taught him!! :))

Great stuff FB.

This afternoon, we went to see my dau (11 going on 16) play Lady
Merryjig in "The Pepys Show". She had several solo parts, both
singing and spoken. She carried the part superbly. Absolutely
brilliant. She had the deportment, the manner, the demeanour,
everything. There was no way, in full make up, that she looked
remotely her age!! There was a cast of 60, the largest they've ever
had - and over half the school - involved on a small stage. Three
years ago she'd never have managed it. Two years ago she managed the
opening speech of a class play and a minor role. Last year she played
a bigger part - but this year she had one of the major roles and
carried it off in style :)) She looks as though she's got a mild
touch of jaundice now though because of the make up

Next stop Hollywood ;-)

Well done to both.

Aries...
Well done to both your children Firebird, your patience has paid off
regarding your son's eating habits, and what a proud mum you must have felt
to see your lovely daughter play her part so well at the school show. It's
always a great feeling to see one's own children are growing up so well -
such a credit to you :)
