I know that Baldrick posted a message via aioe on 12th August........I could
see it it on aioe (he couldn't)....

I still have aioe as one of my NG thingies.....loads of messages *there*
(for silversurfers) that aren't on news.indiv........

aioe now refuses to even load up - have they gone out of business??

I think that news.svr.pol.co.uk is the PlanetOnLine (ex Energis)
News Server that Freeserve/Wanadoo/Orange use?

So it's only available when you are using a Freeserve/Wanadoo/Orange
Internet Connection.

When I tried it, using Telnet, the Connection was immediately
Terminated by the Remote Server...
