mixture of Walter, WFTs and GFTs though ATM Walter is winning. It's dry and
bright and still warm for November.

Just spoken to my Bro in Leeds and it is raining heavily.

The house is a building site,business is going mad.
Mum's furniture arived and we are trying to place everything.

I sent a post to another NG saying that it's dark outside but I've just
realised that I haven't pulled the curtains yet. LOL

Oh! my little *Manneken Pis*? tee-hee...

You need the 'face' plug-in and need a folder to put them in. I did
mine a few years ago but Frogman has just set his up so he may be able
to help you better on that.
[I've added such a lot to my folder over the years that I forget what
comes by default now.]

Anyway, go here...
C:\Program Files\MesNews\Plugins
and if it's not already there, create a new folder called
faces
...that'll be your first step.

The b&w pics are called 'X-Faces' and the colour ones are called
'faces' - (don't call the colour ones X-Faces or you'll get people
confused)

The 'faces' have to be 48x48 in size, no bigger than 740bytes and saved
as PNG graphic files. Irfanview is good for making them.

Oh that can be done easily with MesNews - it has much better settings and
more options than OE As Gareth has said, we must start a new thread for
you :)

It can be done although I don't use that option myself.

btw. If you right-click on the name of the NG and select
"Synchronization of the Group" > "Download Headers and Bodys" the
new posts will come in automatically every minute.
You can do that on each NG that you subscribe to.

Another dull overcast start to the day - but it is definitely not cold
out there and no sign of rain - hmmm the sun is up there, wonder if it
will make it today.
Have come on the pc to do some paperw**k before I go to the w**kplace -
trying to catch up again:(
