Fed Up!!

Yes, I know I have just been on a cruise..........& my whinges are nothing
compared to Pete's.....but sometimes 'Life' can be a pain!

No wonder you are having a whinge. How much more can go wrong for one
person.
Hope by now everything is sorted to your satisfaction and that you can
get on with your plans for your holiday

Last week my partner was devastated to learn his only daughter had lost the
baby she was expecting at Xmas......he loves being an 'honourary' Grandpa to
my 2 but this would have been his first 'real' grandchild...

2 days before I got back - partner (as if he hasn't had enough 'troubles'
this year) was in a bad car crash. He was fine but the car was written off.
That night - wobbly as he was - cooked a meal only for the blasted hob to
blow up! Agent sent 2 (very nice) Polish guys when I got
back......unfortunately, slight language prob - so they "fixed" fuse and all
electrics in flat blew!

New hob arrived on Friday (at 8.00pm).....great stuff!
celebrated with beans on toast.

Noticed that drawer under cooker wasn't closing properly - owt to do with
non-English speaking guys?

Did they "wobble" the oven??

Last night - dinner in oven - one almighty explosion and flippin glass
cooker door blew! Glass absolutely everywhere.......30 seconds earlier and
I would have been in front of said oven checking on potatoes....

What more can go wrong?? As expected, car insurance will pay us about Ł1.50
for a new car.....

Oh and then there was the (first) meeting with clients today for my new
job - Hmmph! Fire last night at Kings Cross put paid to that ......
eventually got there - 1 1/2 hours late!

Well, we have booked a beach holiday in Gran canaria for Sept......am
counting the days!!

If you close your eyes and swish your feet in a bowl of water, you could
almost be on a beach holiday today... well, ok, you need a little
imagination. After all the rotten stuff, I hope your next few weeks are a
big improvement! :-)

LOL....yes!
went to the "ex" marital home to pick up the "exes" post (he's abroad)...
My lovely black cat crossed my path umpteen times!

Biggest joy was seeing the Grandchildren!

Granddaughter is nearly 4 and a "princess" - all pink/purple & sparkly (not
bad seeing as my daughter is 'Queen of the Goths'!!)

Grandson (at 4 months) can dribble for England!
And BOY but does he have a belly-laugh.
