Then and now (again)

I've done another then and now piccy thingy. This time it's of the pub I
drank in when I frirst went to London in the late 60's - easy walking
distance from my place of work :-) The pub's in the City and was a bit
grubby looking. Not grubby anymore but - Oh YUK !!! The new picture was
taken just a few days ago.

The new one could be any building anywhere. Do you know when it was rebuilt
? One thing I will say is that while it lacks the character of the old
building at least it doesn't look like a modern monstrosity.

oh! dear what a difference, but you must admit the old building did look a
bit delapidated!!
Have you been to the City recently - I think you will find lots of it has
changed since 1960?
I worked there for 14 years from 1974 in the Planning Office so I must admit
I was partly responsible for some of the changes !!
