We saw the cardiologist this morning - they have decided that it would

Tyke...
This must be so frustating Anita. It also sounds quite complex.

Give Ron best wishes from Oz and .....................(((((Anita))))))))

Anita...
Thank you, Russell - it is oh so frustrating :(

be dangerous to use DC Cardioversion on him, because it could cause him
to have another slipped disc (he already has 5) and could also cause
problems with the spur that is compressing the nerve at the top of the

Jackie...
Oh! what an awful shame Anita, it just goes on and on.
I hope something can turn-up so it is done much earlier.

Anita...
So do I Jackie - but lack of funds are not helping at all :(

spine.
They have therefore decided to go ahead with Catheter Ablation.

There is a problem - they were hoping to get it all sorted out before he
sees the spine specialist again in March, so that a date could be set
for his operation.

But we have received a cancellation from the consultant that was due to
see him in January, to discuss when they would do the Catheter Ablation,
and instead of going in January it has now been put back to February:(
So goodness knows when he will now have the spinal op done :(

donut...
Sorry about this Anita - more worries for you both.
Hope they have another cancellation and it brings the date forward.

BunnyHare...
Oh dear, poor Ron. Can't be doing him much good, all the chopping and
changing of appointments and delays in getting the treatment he needs
((((((hugs for you both)))

Anita...
Thank you barb, every little helps :)

Pam the goose...

What's happening tonight?

Bill P...

I hope this gets sorted soon for both your sakes.

linedancer...
Oh dear, another setback for poor Ron, it's soul destroying Anita and so
very frustrating for you both :-(

Anita...
Thank you, Boo

Anita...
It is soul destroying, Pat - and at 81 how long can you hold on waiting
:(

Splodge...
That's awful for Ron to have to wait that long to get something done Anita.
I think older people should have a bit more priority.
I don't suppose he could see a cadiologist from outside his area? After all,
they're giving that choice to people who are due to have operations.
Splodge

Anita...
Well, come March it will be 2 years since he was told he must have an op
to release that nerve. It is unfortunate that another heart complaint
has hit him - but I do sometimes wonder what will happen next :(

shaz...
Sorry to hear this Anita. It is so depressing to get news like that.
((((Anita))))

Anita...
Thank you shaz - sorry to hear about the probs with your mother - that
must be hard for you ((((shaz))))

Bad news indeed Anita... In any other country it would be done by now..

Foxy at w*rk...
Oh Anita that is such bad news. Poor Ron having to suffer all this time, and
poor you having to care for him. I wish I could win the lottery and I could
pay for it private for you both (((HUG)))
