I imagine that the area around the airport is a lot different than when
I was at Changi some 57 yrs ago. I frightened myself considerably by
wandering out of Changi village into what seemed to me like dense
jungle. After several unsuccessful attempts to return to civilisation,
panic set in. In reality I was only 400 yds from the village.
