If you still have First or Second Class stamps bought at a lower price than
is now in force they are still valid without adding any more stamps :-)
Guess who bought a book of each, not realising the First Class ones were
due to go up in price the following week ;-))

The Royal Mail has a Website...

& on there, there's a Section about their (new) Prices...
(The Link is in the Navigation Panel on the left, in the "News
& Information" Section)...

Our prices have changed from 3rd April 2006

First Class stamps have increased to 32p for mail weighing up to 60g

There's also a "View Prices" thingy (on the Right hand side of the
Home Page) where you can Pick from a DropDown List, the Category
to View...

First Class, Second Class, Recorded Signed For, etc.

& there's a Link to a "Price Finder"

& also, on the Royal Mail WebSite Home Page, there's a facility to
"Buy Online", where you can buy 100 x 1st Class Self-Adhesive Stamps
for £32.00

Which works out at 32 Pence each (BTW - I dunno why there's no Discount
when you buy 100 Stamps at a time!)

It went up from 30p to 32p last Monday Jen - you should have sent them all
last week. LOL

Mind you the invoice copies that Twistcali mailed me on a fortnight ago -
they'd franked the envelope themselves. Postmark was dated 28-03-05 and
the stamp amount was 29p. I'd like to know how they got away with that. I
know it was posted last month, 'cos I requested the copies on 16-03-06.

Firms using franking machines get a reduced rate if they send a lot of mail.
We queried this with F in Laws solicitor as they seemed to be behind the
time with everything else. LOL
