Still wet and wild here and a lot darker than yesterday, don't think there
will be daylight today. The good thing is that the wind is still coming in
the right direction to be warm though the rain is making it appear more
chilly than yesterday.

morning Mike, still rather dark here so not sure what the weather is doing.
Hope all goes well with the car service :)

Dry here at the moment but the forecasters are threatening us with more
wind and rain. Yesterday was a day best forgotten about, weather-wise, with
rain and fog for much of the day. Headlights on as I drove to and from my
'evening' class. Was also held up briefly by a huge piece of machinery on a
low-loader being brought out of a granite quarry onto the road. Police
escort front and rear because it was so big and slow. Glad it went in the
opposite direction to me :-)

Got to be in to Falmouth for 8.30 a.m. for my car's first annual service -
time flies even when you are not having fun :-)

Well that was all quite painless :-)

Apart from a split seal on the driver's door, which will be replaced under
warranty, everything was tickettyboo :-))

Oh, don't remind me that it's Friday the 13th! :)
I'm all packed and ready to drive to my sister's house
today. Tomorrow we leave for Florida for 2 weeks,
on a bus trip. I sure hope all will go smoothly.
Hubby is staying home with our elderly dog and
minding the house and the dog.
Temp here is 23°F/-5°C.
Temp in St. Petersburg, FL is 66°F/19°C.
Prediction is for the 70s F in FL.
Doesn't look like I'll be doing much swimming. :(
But I'll enjoy walking on the beach, I'm sure.
I'll see all you nice people again when I return in February.
