Actually I wasn't commenting on the news item, shocking as it is, but
rather having a dig at Anita who reckons it's always lovely there :-)

Hey, Mike I have always been referring to the weather - NOT the crimes going
on in the area in which I live :)
I know for a fact that Waltham Forest has one of the highest crime records
in London - I am a member of the Metropolitan Police Consultative Group so I
get to hear about the crimes that take place here.

As with other parts of the country - there are lots of crimes that do not
get into the local press or picked up by the media.

But for all that - the weather here is good - we do not appear to suffer the
extreme weather that the rest of you in this Britain do ;))
